The Inventor of the Week button will link you the Lemelson-MIT inventor's archives. This page brings to light the names behind many great and noteable inventions including the Ferris Wheel (George Ferris), the Chocolate Chip cookie (Ruth Wakefield) and the 8-Track Lear Jet inventor - William P. Lear.

Red Green is the godfather of backyard Gizmology and famous for his ability to adapt and combine seemingly useless items into rather dangerous contraptions that often maim and injure (no decapitations have been reported yet). He is the Official spokesman for Duct Tape™ and if you have enjoyed his immensely popular show on PBS you should stop by the world famous Possum Lodge for a visit.
